Alcohol-free Gin and Tonic!

If you want to lose weight or feel more energetic, it is better not to drink alcohol for a while.

Some clients don't find that a problem at all.

Others have a bit more trouble with it.

Most people associate alcohol with socializing.

When the weather is nice, when the BBQ is switched on three times a week at the neighbors left and right, it is often very difficult to stick to your intention to live alcohol-free for a while.

Why is it really better to leave the alcohol if you want to lose weight or get fitter??

Your body sees alcohol as a toxin and will want to get rid of it as soon as possible.

This is at the expense of the combustion of other nutrients such as carbohydrates and fat. Carbohydrates and fats that are not burned are stored as fat in our body.

Alcohol often serves snacks such as chips, sausages and cheeses.

Few people who can resist the temptation to leave it alone.

In fact; usually you unwittingly grab too many chips, pieces of sausage, etc.c.

A glass of alcohol often tastes like more, so you still drink more than you actually wanted.

Alcohol often throws a spanner in the works with previously made plans to exercise.

Drinking more and exercising less really does not make you lose weight and feel fitter.

I also like a glass of wine myself and sometimes really feel sorry when I advise a client to really take a Spaatje red instead of a glass of wine for the time being.

Delicious with some fresh mint and a slice of lemon I hear myself say…

But now I have discovered something very nice. Well, I didn't find out for myself.

Someone brought it to the BBQ last Sunday. A pregnant friend brought a bottle of Cedars Crisp..

Cedars Crisp is non-alcoholic gin. Must be nothing, was the first thing I thought..

But the opposite turned out to be true. With this Cedar Crisp, Fever Tree tonic, a little mint and a few raspberries she made a worthy alternative to a real gin tonic:c:

On the site of Gall & amp; Gall I saw that there are 2 other non-alcoholic Gins for sale. Those are Seedlip Spice and Seedlip Garden, but I haven't tried these myself.
